Rosie the Road Trip Rhino
Rosie is our class rhinoceros that travels with the students when they go out of town during school.
She has been on cruises in the Caribbean, has visited ruins in Mexico, has been to Texas, Alaska, Colorado, and a couple other places too. When she goes on a trip (not necessarily a road trip - that just rhymes) I ask that the students write 5 journal entries based on our travel journal, making sure to include Rosie and her perspective in the journal entries. I also ask for pictures that include Rosie helping to show the journey. Pictures can be of any part of the journey. I have many from airports and restaurants.
Only share pictures you are comfortable putting into a class scrapbook. You may print and send them in, or email them to me and I will print them and put them with the journal entries into Rosie’s scrapbook. The journal pages can be written on anything, scrap paper, napkins, typed and emailed, anything that is convenient will do.

Hopefully she will be found and returned to us! Until then, we are hoping to get a new rhinoceros to join our students on their travels during school.
